Remove actual file option - Dupe Eliminator Help Wiki

Remove actual file option - Markelsoft Dupe Eliminator Help
Options:
  • Under 'Dupe Remove (Delete) Preferences' - In addition to removing iTunes Music Library entry, delete actual file on disk - indicates to remove the actual file AS WELL as the iTunes Music Library playlist entry. The default is to NOT remove actual file.

    WARNING!
This option PERMANENTLY deletes the file - it does not go to your Recycle Bin! It also has the side-effect, if the duplicate entry pointed to the same file, of deleting the song COMPLETELY.
